SETTING UP THE RACE PAC

The Race Pac is designed to be quickly assembled and dissembled, allowing for

easy storage. To dissemble for storage, reverse the instructions.

1. Remove the steering wheel from the front compartment of the carry case.

2. Undo the clasp at the bottom of the carry case and lift the front section back

over on itself, creating the A-Frame for the seat back. Secure this by locking the

clasp underneath.

3. Unfold the seat base and turn the adjust dial at the top of the wheel tripod anti

clockwise to loosen the top pivot.

4. Raise the clasps on the aluminum arm, then lift and extend to form a tripod.

5. Adjust the height and reach by extending the tripod arms and secure by pushing

clasps back in place.

6. Set the angle of the pedals by twisting their base unit through 90˚ so they stand

upright and the flat part of the base is flat to the floor.

If using on carpet position the bar underneath so the grips are facing

downwards.

7. Plug the wheel into its housing at the top of the tripod and slide the switch

behind from right to left to lock into place.

8. Connect to your console and burn rubber!

STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS

SENSITIVITY ADJUST

The Race Pac wheel has a unique sensitivity adjustment feature, allowing you to

change the sensitivity of the wheel in game. This is particularly useful when

switching to different types of car during a game, or changing from straight to

twisting tracks. There are a total of seven sensitivity settings and adjustment is

made using the buttons +/- sensitivity buttons next to the D-Pad.

You will hear one beep for each alteration of the sensitivity level. When the

minimum or maximum sensitivity level is reached you will hear two beeps. When

the middle sensitivity level is reached you will hear four beeps.

ACCELERATOR LOCK

The Accel Lock button positioned next to the action buttons enables you to set

your acceleration level. Once you have set the level you require, using the

accelerator pedal or paddles, press the button to maintain this level. When you

stop accelerating, the acceleration level will automatically drop back to this point.

MODE SELECTION - PS2 ONLY

• To select analogue mode, press the mode button once and the LED will turn red.

• Press it again and the LED will turn off- this will activate Digital mode.

In Analogue mode, the motors are activated and the action buttons are pressure

sensitive.

In Digital mode, the motors are activated (game specific) and the action buttons

are digital.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

The steering wheel is not working:

• Make sure the Race Pac is firmly connected to the port

• Make sure the steering wheel is properly inserted

• Reset your game console.

• If problem persists, contact Radica customer support.

The pedals are slipping

• Make sure the carpet or rubber grips are flat to the floor by adjusting he angle of

the pedals.

CAUTION

Adult supervision is recommended. We suggest that for every hour of gameplay

take a 15-minute break.

Sometimes, a built-up of static electricity (from carpets, etc) may cause the game

to the stop working. Just reset the game, and it will work again.

INSTALLAZIONE DI RACE PAC

Race Pac è progettato per consentire un rapido assemblaggio e smontaggio per

riporlo facilmente nella custodia. Per smontare Race Pac e riporlo nella custodia,

segui le istruzioni di assemblaggio in senso inverso.

1. Rimuovi il volante dalla parte anteriore della custodia per il trasporto.

2. Sblocca il fermo nella parte inferiore della custodia per il trasporto e solleva la

sezione anteriore indietro su se stessa, creando una struttura a forma di A per il

sedile. Fissala in posizione bloccando il fermo sottostante.

3. Distendi la base del sedile e ruota la manopola di regolazione nella parte

superiore del treppiede del volante in senso antiorario per allentare il perno

superiore.

4. Solleva i fermi sul braccio di alluminio, quindi solleva ed estendi per formare un

treppiede.

5. Regola l'altezza e l'estensione estendendo i bracci del treppiede e fissa

inserendo i fermi nuovamente in posizione.

6. Imposta l'angolo dei pedali ruotando la loro base finché non raggiunge la

posizione di blocco desiderata.

Se utilizzato su un tappeto, posiziona la barra sottostante in modo che la presa

sia rivolta verso il basso.

7. Inserisci il volante nell'apposito alloggiamento nella parte superiore del

treppiede e fai scorrere l'interruttore da destra a sinistra per fissarlo in posizione.

8. Collega la console e parti alla grande!

COMANDI DEL VOLANTE

REGOLAZIONE DELLA SENSIBILITÀ

Il volante Race Pac presenta una funzione unica per la regolazione della

sensibilità, che ti consente di modificare la sensibilità del volante durante il gioco.

Questa funzione è particolarmente utile quando cambi diversi tipi di automobili in

un gioco oppure quando passi da circuiti diritti a quelli pieni di curve. Sono

disponibili in totale sette impostazioni della sensibilità. La regolazione viene

eseguita tramite i tasti di sensibilità +/- accanto ai tasti di direzione.

Udirai un bip per ogni modifica del livello di sensibilità. Quando raggiungi il livello

massimo di sensibilità o quello minimo udirai due bip, mentre se imposti il livello di

sensibilità medio, udirai quattro bip.

CONTROLLO DELLA VELOCITÀ

Il tasto per il controllo della velocità è situato accanto ai tasti delle operazioni e

consente di impostare il livello di velocità. Una volta impostato il livello richiesto,

tramite il pedale dell'acceleratore o le leve, premi il tasto per mantenere tale livello.

Quando rallenti, il livello di accelerazione tornerà automaticamente a questo

punto.

SELEZIONE DELLA MODALITÀ - SOLO PS2

• Per selezionare una modalità analogica, premere il tasto modalità una volta e il

LED diventerà rosso.

• Premerlo nuovamente per spegnere il LED e attivare la modalità digitale.

Nella modalità analogica, i motori sono attivati e i tasti di comando sono sensibili

alla pressione.

Nella modalità digitale, i motori sono attivati (specifico del gioco) e i tasti di

comando sono digitali.

RISOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI

Il volante non funziona:

• Verifica che Race Pac sia saldamente collegato alla porta.

• Verifica che il volente sia inserito correttamente.

• Ripristina la console di gioco.

• Se il problema persiste, contatta l'assistenza clienti di Radica.

I pedali sono scivolosi

• Verifica che il tappeto o le prese di gomma siano piani sul pavimento, regolando

l'angolo dei pedali.

AUFBAUEN DES RACE PAC

Das Race Pac kann schnell aufgebaut und zur Aufbewahrung wieder a/jointfilesconvert/12024/bgebaut

werden. Führen Sie beim Abbauen die Anweisungen in umgekehrter Reihenfolge aus.

Entnehmen Sie das Lenkrad aus dem Fach an der Vorderseite der Tragetasche.

2. Öffnen Sie den Verschluss an der Unterseite der Tragetasche, und klappen Sie

den vorderen Teil nach hinten um, so dass ein A-förmiger Rahmen für den Sitz

entsteht. Bringen Sie den Verschluss an der Unterseite an, um diese Position zu

stabilisieren.

3. Entfalten Sie die Sitzfläche, und drehen Sie die Schraube am oberen Ende des

Lenkradstativs gegen den Uhrzeigersinn, um den oberen Zapfen zu lösen.

4. Lösen Sie die Verschlussklemmen an der Aluminiumstange, und ziehen Sie sie

so nach oben, dass sie ein Stativ bildet.

5. Passen Sie die Höhe und Reichweite durch Verschieben der Stativarme an, und

sichern Sie diese, indem Sie die Verschlussklemmen wieder anbringen.

6. Stellen Sie den Neigungswinkel der Pedale ein, indem Sie das Basismodul

drehen, bis es an der gewünschten Position einrastet.

Bei Verwendung auf Teppichboden bringen Sie die Schiene so an der

Unterseite an, dass die Noppen nach unten zeigen.

7. Stecken Sie das Lenkrad in das Gehäuse am oberen Ende des Stativs, und

schieben Sie den Schalter an der Rückseite von rechts nach links, so dass das

Lenkrad einrastet.

8. Verbinden Sie das Race Pac mit der Konsole, und geben Sie Gas!

LENKRADBEDIENUNG

ANPASSEN DER EMPFINDLICHKEIT

Das Race Pac verfügt über eine einzigartige Funktion, mit der Sie die Lenkemp-

findlichkeit während des Spielens anpassen können. Dies ist besonders hilfreich,

wenn Sie während eines Spiels zwischen verschiedenen Fahrzeugen oder

zwischen geraden und kurvenreichen Strecken wechseln. Sie können zwischen

insgesamt sieben Empfindlichkeitseinstellungen wählen, die Sie mit den

Empfindlichkeitstasten '+/-' neben dem D-Pad auswählen können.

Bei jeder Anpassung der Empfindlichkeitsstufe ertönt ein Signalton. Wenn die

minimale bzw. maximale Empfindlichkeitsstufe erreicht ist, hören Sie zwei

Signaltöne. Bei Erreichen der mittleren Empfindlichkeitsstufe werden vier

Signaltöne wiedergegeben.

GESCHWINDIGKEITSFIXIERUNG

Mit der Taste für die Geschwindigkeitsfixierung neben den Aktionstasten können

Sie eine gleichbleibende Geschwindigkeit festlegen. Wenn Sie mit dem Gaspedal

auf die gewünschte Geschwindigkeit beschleunigt haben, drücken Sie die Taste,

um diese Geschwindigkeit beizubehalten. Wenn Sie nicht mehr weiter beschleuni-

gen, nimmt die Geschwindigkeit automatisch wieder ab, bis dieser Wert erreicht ist.

MODUSWAHL - NUR PS2

• Zum Auswählen des Analog-Modus einmal die Modustaste drücken, wodurch die

LED-Anzeige rot wird.

• Durch nochmaliges Drücken wird die LED-Anzeige ausgeschaltet und der

Digital-Modus aktiviert.

Im Analog-Modus sind die Motoren aktiviert und sind die Aktionstasten druckemp-

findlich.

Im Digital-Modus sind die Motoren aktiviert (vom Spiel abhängig) und arbeiten die

Aktionstasten digital.

PROBLEMBEHEBUNG

Das Lenkrad funktioniert nicht

• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Race Pac fest mit dem Anschluss an der

Konsole verbunden ist.

• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Lenkrad ordnungsgemäß eingesetzt ist.

• Setzen Sie die Spielkonsole zurück.

Die Pedale rutschen

INSTALACIÓN DEL RACE PAC

El Race Pac se monta y desmonta con gran rapidez y resulta muy fácil de

guardar. Para desmontarlo y guardarlo, sigue estas instrucciones a la inversa.

1. Saca el volante del compartimento delantero de la funda.

2. Abre la abrazadera situada en la parte inferior de la funda y levanta la sección

delantera del respaldo, echándola hacia atrás para crear la estructura triangular

que forma el respaldo del asiento. Asegúralo fijando la abrazadera en la parte

de abajo.

3. Abre la base del asiento y gira el indicador de ajuste - situado en la parte de

arriba del trípode del volante - en la dirección opuesta a las agujas del reloj

para aflojar el pivote superior.

4. Levanta las abrazaderas del brazo de aluminio. A continuación, levanta éste y

extiéndelo para formar el trípode.

5. Ajusta la altura y la longitud extendiendo los brazos del trípode, y vuelve a

colocar las abrazaderas en su sitio para asegurar el trípode.

6. Fija el ángulo de los pedales girando la unidad base hasta que llegue al punto

deseado.

Si se va a usar sobre una moqueta, coloca la barra que lleva debajo de modo

que los pies antideslizantes queden hacia abajo.

7. Coloca el volante en su sitio, en la parte superior del trípode, y mueve el

interruptor trasero deslizante de derecha a izquierda.

8. Conecta con la consola y ¡a correr!

MANDOS DEL VOLANTE

AJUSTE DE SENSIBILIDAD

El volante Race Pac tiene una opción única para regular la sensibilidad que

permite hacer ajustes durante el juego. Resulta particularmente útil cuando

cambias de coche durante una partida, o cuando pasas de una pista recta a otra

con curvas. Hay un total de siete ajustes, y se usan con los botones de sensibili-

dad +/- situados al lado del mando de dirección.

Cada vez que se hace un cambio en el nivel de sensibilidad se oye un pitido.

Cuando se alcanza el nivel máximo o mínimo de sensibilidad sonarán dos pitidos.

Cuando se llega al nivel medio se oyen cuatro pitidos.

FIJACIÓN DEL ACELERADOR

El botón de fijación del acelerador, situado al lado de los botones de acción,

permite ajustar el nivel de aceleración. Una vez seleccionado el nivel deseado

usando las paletas o el pedal del acelerador, pulsa el botón para que se

mantenga en dicho nivel. Cuando dejes de acelerar, el nivel de aceleración

volverá automáticamente a ese punto.

SELECCIÓN DE MODO - SÓLO PARA PS2

• Para el modo analógico, pulsa el botón de modo y el indicador LED se

encenderá en rojo.

• Si lo pulsas se nuevo, el indicador LED se apagará - esto hará que se active el

modo Digital.

En el modo Analógico, los motores se activan y los botones de acción son

sensibles a la presión.

En el modo Digital, los motores están activados (específico del juego) y los

botones de acción son digitales.

RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

El volante no funciona:

• Comprueba que el Race Pac está insertado firmemente en el puerto.

• Comprueba que el volante está bien colocado.

• Reinicializa la consola de juego.

• Si el problema persiste, ponte en contacto con el servicio de atención al cliente

de Radica.

Los pedales resbalan

• Comprueba que la moqueta y las almohadillas antideslizantes están planas con

respecto al suelo. Ajusta el ángulo de los pedales si es necesario.

ADVERTENCIA

Se recomienda la supervisión por parte de un adulto. Recomendamos descansar

15 minutos por cada hora de juego.

MANTENIMIENTO

MONTAGE DU RACE PAC

Le Race Pac a été étudié pour être assemblé et démonté rapidement. Il est

compact, ce qui facilite son rangement et son transport. Afin de le démonter,

suivez les instructions à l’envers.

1. Enlevez le volant du compartiment à l’avant du sac.

2. Ouvrez les clapets des armatures et faites-les glisser afin de créer une forme en

3. Dépliez le siège et tournez le clip du haut de l’armature afin de pouvoir insérer

le volant.

4. Ouvrez les clapets du deuxième axe en aluminium et faites-le glisser en

hauteur.

5. Ajustez la hauteur et assurez-vous que les clapets soient bien fixés et fermés.

6. Ajustez les pédales jusqu’à trouver l’angle voulu.

7. Insérez le volant et bloquez-le en tournant le clip circulaire placé sur l’armature,

de droite à gauche.

8. Connectez-vous à votre console et faites crisser les pneus !!

CONTRÔLE DE LA DIRECTION DU VOLANT

AJUSTER LA SENSIBILITÉ

Le Race Pac dispose d’une possibilité unique d’ajustement, permettant de

changer sa sensibilité tout en « roulant ». C’est surtout utile lorsque vous changez

de voiture durant le jeu, où lorsque vous passez d’une ligne droite à des chemins

tortueux. Au total, il y a 7 positions possibles, réglables grâce aux boutons +/-

situés sur le volant. Lors du passage d’une position de sensibilité à une autre,

vous entendrez un bip. Vous en entendrez deux quand vous en aurez atteint le

minimum ou le maximum. Le niveau normal sera atteint quand vous entendrez 4

bips.

VERROUILLAGE DE LA VITESSE

Le bouton de verrouillage de vitesse placé à côté des boutons d’action vous

permet de régler votre niveau d’accélération. Une fois que vous aurez atteint le

niveau idéal, en utilisant les pédales d’accélération, appuyez sur le bouton pour

maintenir ce niveau. Le niveau d’accélération retombera automatiquement à ce

point quand vous arrêterez d’accélérer.

MODE DE SÉLECTION - PS2 UNIQUEMENT

Pour sélectionner le mode analogique, appuyez sur le bouton une fois, la LED

deviendra rouge.

Ensuite appuyez une seconde fois et la LED s’éteindra, ce qui activera le mode

digital.

Dans le mode analogique, les moteurs sont activés et les boutons d’action sont

sensibles à la pression.

Dans le mode digital, les moteurs sont activés et les boutons d’action sont

digitaux.

PROBLÈMES DE FONCTIONNEMENT

Si le volant ne fonctionne plus :

Assurez-vous que le Race Pac soit bien connecté à la console.

Assurez-vous que le volant soit bien encastré dans la structure métallique.

Redémarrez le jeu.

Si le problème persiste, contactez le support clientèle de Radica.

Les pédales patinent :

Assurez-vous que les grippes du socle des pédales soient en contact avec le sol,

en ajustant l’angle des pédales.

ATTENTION :

La supervision d’un adulte est recommandée. Il est recommandé de faire une

pause de 15 minutes toutes les heures.

ENTRETIEN :

Manier ce produit avec soin.

Tenir le produit à l’écart de la poussière, de la saleté, de la moisissure ou des

températures extrêmes.

Ne pas démonter le produit. Si un problème arrive, contactez votre revendeur.
